About
We are the stars which sing
We sing with our light;
We are the birds of fire,
We fly over the sky.
Our light is a voice;
We make a road for spirits,
For the spirits to pass over.

History of OZION Adventures and the Land it Inhabits
the 100 acres that make up OZION Adventures was purchased by the Ozahowski family (father Tom and two brothers David and Matt) in 2015. David and Matt are native Vermonters who grew up twenty miles away in Thetford, Vermont. Tom was born outside of Boston, but his love for the outdoors and adventure drew him north.
When the Ozahowski's first visited the land together they were in awe from its majestic beauty. They were also in a time of healing, processing the loss of their wife and mother, Judy. The land brought them together in a time of loss and gave them a place to share Judy's memories and think of her in the world beyond here.
The Ozahowski's were drawn to the land not just for its beauty but for its recreational potential. Tom was quick to purchase a machine to groom the fields and old logging roads for skiing. David and Matt began working on widening the old logging roads and doing maintenance on the property.
In the summer of 2016, Matt worked with Architect/Engineer Nick Fabrikant to place a small, handsome structure at the top of the hill.
Matt has been an integral and positive force of support for the creation of OZION Adventures.
David, while opening up old trails, building new ones, and exposing and creating unique features of the property, never lost sight of the vision he had in the summer of 2013. David was then a guide for Rainbow Glacier Adventures in Haines, Alaska, and remembers biking to work on a cloudy day and, as he was cresting a hill, looking up at the mountain shoulder above town and imagining that there was a place where people gathered to experience an elevated beauty of life. The dream has been reworked and remolded over the years, but he is now thankful that time allowed for the fulfillment of his dream that presents itself as OZION Adventures.
Tom ventured away from this earth on Martin Luther King Day 2020. David and Matt still cherish the memories they shared together on the land. In their parent's honor, they have erected two granite
monuments at the top of the hill that look southwest, toward the winter setting sun.
May joy, peace and wonder ennoble your spirit and help you pursue your dreams
