Story Quest
"We recently visited the magical hilltop of Ozion Adventures and it provided the perfect sanctuary for peace and healing. The Story Quest allowed us to learn more about who we are and to connect with what we actually need. For us, being on the hilltop was a spiritual experience and the healing power that this land and adventure hold is something you have to experience directly."

A story quest is an experience of transportation and transformation where one begins writing the story of their future self after a hiking adventure through the landscape that shares its unique story.
The landscape's story is told and experienced through a 1.5 mile hike around the property. The story is a combination of a personal connection with nature and a connection to the several points of interest, along the trail, where the landscape offers stories. The stories seek to bridge the history of ancient Corinth, Greece with the history of the first Corinth in North America (Corinth, Vermont). The mythology from Ancient Greece, of Bellerophon, Pegasus, Aphrodite and Apollo, is interwoven with the history of the Abenaki, Alexander Twilight, Eleanor H. Porter and other stories and folklore from Corinth, Vermont. All these strands are tied together by one's personal, sensory experience in nature in order to provide an adventure that exercises the imagination and amplifies a quest of self–discovery that spans time and location.

We are always in need of transformation, contemplation, reflection, and a reminder that we have something special within us that is worth striving and climbing toward. Ozion Adventures believes that by orientating oneself to the beauty of the land, elements of story, events of history, the phenomena of the imagination and through the practice of writing the story of one's potential self, an individual can add value to their purpose and possibly help others in their circles do the same.

With the accompanying pictures, use your imagination to envision yourself on the Story Quest:

Begin your adventure with introductions before being transported, by a tractor pulled wagon, up through field and forest as the windy, 3/4 of a mile driveway takes you to the top of the hill where the magnificence of the view opens up before you. Now you have arrived.
Gather beneath an open walled tent and sit together around a large granite table to discuss elements of story, think about what your story might be, and begin building a metaphorical bridge that helps span the distance between the history of ancient Corinth, Greece, the history of Corinth, Vermont and the future self you could transform into.
Begin a 1.5 mile hike, with a 400 foot elevation gain, to immerse and connect yourself with nature. The walk meanders on single-track trails and revived logging roads. It loops around the land that has several unique features (Stone Mysteries, Poet's Landing, Granite Monoliths, Antique Mowing Equipment, Wizard Trees, Bellerophon's Bema, Granite Quarry, Rainbow Rock, Lone Pine, Maple Bend, Twilight's Tower, Monument Memories, etc.)
While questing through pasture and forest, listen to the story that the land tells of Corinth, Greece and Corinth, Vermont, and imagine what the story of your future self might look like.
Gather again around the granite table to share perspectives and eat the local farmer's bakery treat, a muffin from a local bakery, a Vermont apple, a local tomato and greens from Crossroad Farm, and a few sips of Corinth's maple syrup.
Receive a complementary journal and pen, and choose a quiet place on the property where you can spend an hour and a half beginning to write the story of your future self that you could transform into.
Gather again around the table and share any final thoughts and
reflections before transporting back down the hill in the wagon with the beginning of your story about the potential of your future.
Please bring proper footwear, appropriate outdoor gear and
anything else that will help you claim and discover your future self.
